With the UK heading back into lockdown and the fact that we will have more time on our hands than usual, many of us have taken up baking and are making our own bread.

Lots of people are ditching shop bought bread and are having a go at baking bread at home. A bread maker makes the whole process so much easier, you just put the ingredients in the machine and at a push of a button you're done! The machines are compact and will fit on your worktop, its less messy than making bread by hand so your kitchen stays clean and all that's left to do is wait for the bread to be ready. 

When you make your own bread, you have control over what ingredients you use. Some bread you purchase from the supermarket may taste fresh, but many types are loaded with preservatives to extend their shelf life. Homemade is typically healthier and it works out cheaper to make your own bread than to buy it.

A bread machine is a convenient way to make your own bread. It is easier than kneading by hand, which can be quite time consuming and gets tiring pretty quickly, a bread machine is convenient and a useful appliance to have in your home. There's nothing more yummy than the smell of freshly baked bread!
